Cayley Plutnick

I am an emerging artist based in Lambertville, NJ. I specialize in oil and acrylic painting, and possess a technical affinity for brightly-colored impasto brushstrokes, as well as a preoccupation with negative space and how it defines an object or landscape. I also have an intellectual interest in people, places, and things. This is part of a larger examination of the narratives binding humans to the land in which they live, from historical, geographic, and emotional perspectives. I look forward to refining my style through plein air landscape paintings and expressive portraits during the coming months.
